Turning 50 Looking & for a Great Place

I am turning 50 in February and we are looking for a great island beach location to celebrate. Would like a higher end beach front location. Any suggestions?

Everyone has their opinion, but I am a big fan of Anguilla. Beautiful beaches, many high end options, food is great, extremely friendly people who are so proud of their island that they graciously open up to us tourists. If you are interested, check out the book, "A Trip to the Beach" by Melinda and Robert Blanchard.

Happy early 50th and have a great birthday wherever you go!

I second Anguilla as a perfect choice for what you are looking. Amazing empty beaches and a great selection of restaurants and resorts.

Turning 50 is a little different than turning 21. You appreciate a nice beach/pool area with a great view while you read a good book along with some good dining options. I would suggest that you look into Nevis or St. John.

I just celebrated my 50th on Anguilla. We stayed at Cap Juluca, ate at Hibernia, Straw Hat, Koal Keel, Tasty's, and had a great time. I highly recommend it!
