Dear Judi, The weather is magnificent that time of year and all summer too. The beaches are long , white sand and the water is a magnificent turquiose. I visited there for five years in a row and just basked in the water and water sports. There was virtually nothing there but I fear that tourism has found the islands beautiful beach and deposited many resorts there. Hopefully the long great beach will still offer its wonder to you. Say hi to JoJo for me if you go!

Judy: went to Provo in Turks and Caicos in November 96' Weather was excellent, excellent, excellent. The people are very friendly. Dove with Dive Provo- very good. If you have further questions you can e-mail. We stayed at the Turquoise Reef Resort.
Rent a jeep and tour the island. Make sure you go to the tiki huts at the end of the island on the shore. You will think you died and went to heaven. Enjoy your trip.

Judi-
You'll love the Turks!
We have been there three times--the second time, we stayed at the Ocean Club--divine because you can
cook breakfast, lunch and have dinner out. This last go around, stayed at Le Deck--cute and small--needs some repair and you do not have a ref. in your room, which to me is a minus. The beach is long and snow white--Grace Bay is one of the most beautiful we have seen (we have travelled the Caribbean), The weather should be lovely as well.
The diving is great--ask around and find a conch pearl to buy--it makes a lovely ring and/or charm.
Lucky you!
