Turks & Caicos in March
We're considering a trip to Provo T&C in mid-March 2008. My hesitation is caused by my concern about water temps at that time of year. Like many other Texas gals, I can't take cool water temps. I don't even get into the swimming pools here until July! But we would like to go over our daughter's spring break since we have other vacation plans for next summer. Can anyone comment on what the weather/water temps are usually like there in March?

We were there in Jan. and the weather seems to be duplicated for March. We went snorkeling off the beach. To go in for short periods of time is fine but it was not real warm. I like it very warm as well so you might find it barely tolerable. I would say the water temp was 70 or so.

We were n T&C in late Feb. and April. If the sun is out the water and air temps mentioned are ,on average, correct but with the sun you will be fine. Where in Texas can you snorkel and see 20 ft. ahead of you and observe coral, tropical fish, etc.
