Ya gotta love Mandoo. My flight that Sun evening arrived over an hour late from SVG. I had no way to contact him about my late departure. Mandoo was kind enough to take a chance and wait for me. The rain that evening was horrible. He is an absolute professional. With all the rain his white uniform remained spotless.

Old Salt here. Just finished weeks 16 & 17 on Mandalay. Mandoo always takes care of us when we're in Grenada. We were in the restaurant at Blue Horizon during that rain Sunday night and even the wait staff exclaimed at the amount of rain we were getting. We really got lucky though - It rained Saturday night but stopped so we could lay by the pool on Sunday, then it started up again and rained all Sunday night but stopped just before Mandoo picked us up to go to the airport early Monday morning. Our two weeks on Mandalay were rain free - sounds like you weren't quite as lucky. Doesn't matter that much though does it? You're still on Windjammer!

You are so right pegoode.A rainy day on a WJ is better than no day sailing. Wish I had more vacation time and I would go more often. One day I would like to sail on the Mandy but 2 weeks uses up 2/3s of my vacation time. I have a brother who lives in FL and a timeshare i like to use as well as visit other places so I have to really plan my time out carefully. Fortunately where I work they are willing to permit time with out pay as long as I don't abuse it.
