Travel from Barbados to Grenada

I am in the process of booking my honeymoon in October. We would like to stay a few nights in Barbados and then go on to Grenada. Does anyone if there is a specific airline that will flies between the two islands.

Also, what is the major difference between staying on the south coast and the west coast in Barbados?

Don't know specifically but if you use Google and type our these airlines you may get info:
Interisland Airlines, Caribbean Star Airlines, WinWard Airlines, LIAT or type out "Caribbean-Airlines" or even the island of Grenada-information.

Lois,

Where would you suggest staying in Barbados? We are going to be there on our honeymoon. Do you know of anyone who has stayed at the Lone Star? We don't want anything all inclusive.

The Savannah Hotel in Barbados looks very nice also. In Grenada, LaLuna, Spice Island or Calabash.

Thanks for the replies, we are staying at LaLuna in Grenada, but still haven't decided on a place in Barbados. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also looking for good restaurants on both islands.

Margaret:

West Coast of Barbados is more expensive, but there is less breeze so it can be warmer. Lone Star is supposed to be nice, but I do not know of anyone who has stayed there.

I would recommend Royal Pavillion on the West Coast.

On the South Coast, Bougainvillea Beach is gorgeous and also Coral Sands Resorts. Both have websites and can be found at the Tourism Board site - http://www.barbados.org
If you cannot find Coral Sands there, check http://www.coralsandsresort.com

If you want something very private you can look into a small villa. They have some great ones available through hideaways -- look up http:www.hideaways.com (at least I think that is the site). There is also Bajan services.

If you need more help, feel free to write me directly. Lois
