how 'bout going to Virtuoso or Classic Caribbean and start there - they give references for travel agents who are considered "experts" at the destination.
Read travel books, travel sites for Jamaica and message boards to see if anything peeks your interest and then you will have a better list of questions to ask.

If you are doing this for friends and family, you might check with a couple of local travel agents to see if they know the area well enough. A local agent is best when planning a destination wedding, so you can get brochures and have someone handy.

Also alot of resorts now have wedding planners as part of their services, like Sandals, and the wedding is free. I think there are a couple of Sandals on Jamacia. If you use an onsite planner, than a travel agent can be a help in getting airline tickets to all coming to the wedding.

Also depending on how many people are traveling, the airlines offer group discounts. I have done that for Delta and American, so when you call ask for the group desk and give them an idea of how many will be coming with you and they will give you some options.

Hope this helps.

Try Directions a travel company
ask for Cindy 219-924-6066 she is an expert at this wedding stuff. She is also a Sandals specialist.

I've used Liberty Travel several times, www.libertytravel.com so you might call and ask for some help.

I'd still suggest checking with a local travel agency in your area, so you can go there, get brochures and get info on LOTS of islands.

Also there is a good website for carribean travel www.where2stay.com

HOpe this helps.
