Tortola and BVI's -- Any suggestions

Hi:

I am heading to Tortola for 9 days the week after next. Does anyone have any recommendations on restaurants, beaches, island hopping day trips? What is on your don't miss lists?

Thanks!

I stayed in Apple Bay on Tortola--DO Not, I repeat DO NOT--miss a fabulous dinner at the Sugar Mill--it was my first experience with island rum (I was 16 at the time), but I remember the restaurant being bright yellow, very tropical and eating a delicious meal. ALso, the beaches are incredible, and don't forget to visit Bonbe's Surf Shack for a painkiller.
Enjoy!

There are so many lovely places to see, it's hard to condense it down to a short list, but here goes -
Go to Cane Garden Bay, Sopers Hole (Pusser's restaurant has a location here & also don't miss the Jolly Roger Restaurant), see the Baths on Virgin Gorda and definitely try to do some day cruises to some of the smaller islands. I particularly liked Cooper Island - great restaurant! Take the ferr from Sopers Hole to St. Thomas for a day of shopping. Have a great time!

Hi: If you like to snorkel consider the Patouche II snorkle trip to Norman Island it was the highlight of my family's vacation. The staff on "patouche II" is the best I have found !!

For dinner, you must try C & F Restaurant. Excellent
local food. Also, Quito"s Gazebo at Cane Garden
Bay. The view at night of St. Thomas and Jost
Van Dyke is beautiful. The food is pretty good, too.
If you snorkel, go to Brewer's Bay. Also check out
Smugglers Cove. If you scuba, go with Blue Water
Divers. They are wonderful.
