Out of your locations listed, I'd say St. Barth's, although it CAN be pricey. However, it can also be done affordably, as well.

Good luck and congrats!
A villa in St Bart's -- ABSOLUTELY. Try Wimco.com -- mostly they're way up hillsides with breathtaking views. Can't be matched, anywhere.

I can only comment on St. John. It blew us away when we arrived on the "dock of the bay", we knew instantly that this was a beautiful island,

Our villa agent was waiting at the dock, she drove us to the car rental place, it took all of approx. 10 min. to sign in, get the keys and we were off.

We followed her through the town up the winding hill ( 5 min.) to our villa. She pulled in the driveway with us parking beside her. We got out of our jeep and said, WOW!.

The next day, we got up had breakfast looked at the map and off we went to explore the beautiful Northshore beaches. St. John just got more beautiful with each passing day.

You will love it. I also don't think you can go wrong with St. Barts. I have friends who have gone there but it has a more French European flair to it. St,. John is more low key. Beauty and lushness beyond compare.

We loved it. You can't go wrong with either island.

Take a look at Peter Island Resort. Small, romantic, couples-oriented place with great food and top-notch service. About 100 guests at a time (52 rooms), several terrific beaches, great snorkeling, and anything else you can imagine. When we were there a couple got married right on the beach, and they had come all the way from England to do so. The resort is the ONLY thing on the island. Consider paying a little extra for the Beachfront room. My fiancee just got back and it was one of the most romantic places I've ever been. Glad to answer specific questions if you have any.
