T&C - Honeymoon Help

After reading a number of helpful threads, I wanted to post some specific questions to help me as I plan a Honeymoon trip...

We'll be getting married in late April 14', but due to tight schedules we'll be delaying our long Honeymoon until June 14'. We're looking into a 5 night stay, and our approximate budget (all-in) is $4,000. We're both excited to get away and relax, near the beach, pool, spa, etc. After some research and reading a few other posts, it seems like T&C would be a great destination with it's white beaches, clear water, and seemingly relaxed vibe. I think it may be perfect. Does a trip to T&C on $4k seem reasonable?

There have been a number of great suggestions on hotels, and a few have struck my fancy. However, they do seem to be out of our budget right now. Specifically we really liked the Somerset and Seven Stars. I see that they're now offering deals for the Fall on their websites. What time frame might i expect them to role out deals for June? Are their other websites I can stay locked in on for deals (Flight and Room)? We're not particularly extravagant, but are looking to splurge a bit on this experience.

Thanks in advance for your help! Happy to answer any other questions of needed.

Try calling them direct, see what they say. June always has specials.

Does your budget include air?

Don't know who to contact at Somerset, but if you call Seven Stars directly, ask for yngrit. Ask her about specials, and how to get them.

Happy honeymoon!

Go to The Somerset website and call the toll free # and ask...
www.thesomerset.com It is our fav resort and would be great for a honeymoon. We celebrated our Honeymoon next door at The Regent Palms--also nice but Somerset is more intimate. Also, The Somerset beach is very wide & offers privacy.

Thanks for the replies!

To follow-up...booking through the hotel is fine, but would I end up paying more for the flight? Do you have any suggestions on how to book the flight inexpensively if we do end up finding a good deal via the Resort?

I ask because typically when we travel we book the package together which prorates the cost of the flight.

Thanks again!

Best prices for flights 1 sight to look matrix.itasoftware.com, continue to matrix. Can't buy them there, but you'll find which airline to go in 1 place.

You can also try kaya.com

Best way to save on resorts is direct, followed by a local on island booking, Turksandcaicosreservations.tc. TCI is different from other islands, and this is the best way.

As for airlines, check Tuesday's, buy early. Really no savings for air to TCI on any booking site like there used to be.

Places like Expedia, travelociity, etc, don't save you money to TCI. They can offer discounts to islands that get tons of people, and therefore the savings.
