St Thomas restaurants or picnic options?
I will be in St Thomas for a wedding at the Ritz Carlton for a Friday night. A friends bday is Saturday and we are trying to plan something very casual for dinner-were thinking of maybe a beach side seafood restaurant or even getting stuff and having a picnic on the beach. Any suggestions for restaurants or stores/take out places that are close to the R-C to get food? There will be young kids there, so want it casual.

hi, i'd second the blue moon cafe - here's a link: http://www.bluemooncafevi.com/
as you can see directly on the beach so the kids could swim/play while adults have drinks and wait to dinner. are you staying at the ritz? blue moon is about 5 mins before you get to ritz on the same road.

Another waterside place nearby to try would be Latitude 18. Off the other side of the street from the entrance to Secret Harbour right down past the Montessori school. It's a bit hard to find if you don't know it's there but it can be a great place. Some nights they have live music, you might want to call when you are there for a schedule. It is definitely more casual than Blue Moon....but Blue Moon has much better food. IMO.
Another place in the same area that is outdoors, nice and has great food is Arthur's. It's not on the water but it's close.
