St. Martin Restaurants

We've been to St. Martin before several times, but never eaten on the french side (cruise ship days). This time we need a place to eat lunch & are taking my parents--any suggestions appreciated. Nothing too exotically gourmet, but no hamburgers/hotdogs either!
Thanks for the help--

Where? Marigot has some great eateries on the harbor. Philipsburg has places on the beach. Orient beach has lots of beach restaurants.

I would go to Marigot. We loved Tropicana, but there are many places that are more casual.

My suggestion would be to go to Grand Case...the gourmet capitol of the Caribbean.

I second Grand Case. You can stroll the street, read all the posted menus, and decide which restaurant is for you. Plenty to choose from on both sides of the street. You can't go wrong.

Another vote for Grand Case. Great variety of cusines. If you can't find a place that appeals to you there then you may as well skip lunch altogether.

Thanks for the input so far--we were actually thinking of Marigot. However I liked the idea of the menus being posted in Grand Case, gives us more flexibility. Plus we won't have time for an extended meal that day. I've got 6 weeks to plan, so your suggestions are appreciated.

Many restaurants in Marigot (both in town and at the harbor at Port Royale Marina) post their menus outside, as well.
