St. Kitts Trip Report
Just returned from a fabulous time in St. Kitts.
Stayed in a beautiful villa at Calypso Bay located in Frigate Bay (past Marshalls).
Enjoyed liming at Inon's Beach Bar located at Frigate Bay next Dolce Cabana. Inon provides banana boat rides, snorkelling and boat trips to Nevis, island water tours and ice cold drinks. "Best little shack on the beach"
Snorkelled at Whitehouse Bay and then kayaked to South Friars Bay with Turtle Tours. Quite the workout. Had a picnic on the beach which consisted of fresh local fruits and pastries. Great way to spend the day and fun for the whole family. Highly recommended.
Visited Turtle Beach for lunch (delicious mahi mahi) and some snorkelling. Saw Wilbur the pig, Tarzana the monkey, and Capacinno the resident goat. Big hit with the children. www.turtlebeach1.com Breathtaking views of Nevis.
Friday night a group of us met at Bucky's Beach Bar for dinner & drinks. Bucky's is located at Majors Bay and I would describe it as gourmet dining with your feet in the sand. St. Kitts best kept secret.
St. Kitts is a beatiful, laid back island, with friendly helpful locals.
Wish I was still there....

We are staying at the Marriott in St. Kitts and at the Oualie Beach Hotel in Nevis. I kind of wish that we were staying at a smaller resort on St. Kitts, but it will work out. By the way, what is the correct pronunciation of Nevis (long e or short e?. Just curious. Thanks for the website.

I'm sure you will enjoy the Marriott. Be sure to visit Frigate Bay beach (walking distance). Not as rough as the Atlantic.
Nevis is pronounced Neevis. (long e)
Oaulie Beach is very nice property. You will find Nevis a lot quieter than St. Kitts.
Be sure to write a Trip Report when you return.
