Does anyone have a recommendation regarding a rental unit (condo or villa) to stay at in St. Johns (family of 4, do want a pool, and convenient location to water sports but am planning on renting a car. Alot to choose from, could use some actual experiences.

There are many reputable rental agencies in St John. We rented a 4 bedroom villa named Amani for this coming trip. It has a pool and hot tub and is close to town.

Put in a "search" on this forum for" St John villas." You should get lots of good information. You may also want to try the same thing with the website Traveltalkonline. Good luck.

We've had good luck so far with Terry Witham. She handles 4 homes on St. John.

terry has a great 3 bedroom villa/Sunnyledge, which is private and you can walk to francis bay beach. great spot !! also have stayed in the following..Orchid and Oleander villas, Plam villa and many more. rented with www.caribbeanvilla.com -- great company! also check this site for Battery Hill condos -- www.suitestjohn.com .. units are very nice and you can walk right into cruz bay.
