Go to www.stjohnlinks.com and there are some small "villas" aka cottages listed there. Very reasonable too! While you are there take the "beach slide show" and tour the site. It's one of the best that I've seen!

Hi Danielle,

There is some good info posted about St. John B&Bs on the USVI Forum at http://www.traveltalkonline.com where you can also post other questions if you want to. The weather on St. John in July will be mostly sunny with daytime highs in the low 90s, but that's only for 2 or 3 hours in the middle of the day. Sea breezes help keep you cool.

Regards,
Ray

Danielle: I've recommended www.caribbeanvilla.com in several posts. They are based on St. John and we rented a small apartment in a Cruz Bay area known as Cruz Views. Very reasonable with about 10 villas/cottages and small pool. I would highly recommend a jeep, which the folks at Caribbean Villas can help you with. They will meet you at the ferry and take you to your cottage. We went in October so can't say what the weather is like in July. Good luck and have fun!
