Any info. on LaLuna in Grenada

Does anyone have info on this small resort? I just received a brochure and am particularly interested in the beach. . .

I tried to actually book it last Friday for our honeymoon w/ a week in Barbados and it takes 24 hrs to find out availability. FYI. Also, I am looking for info on the actual resort itself. Sounds great but no posts anywhere. I think the beach is supposed to be very nice, not as nice as Grand Anse but it's just over the hill from there.
Thanks for the info. For some reason my company's firewall blocks that site and I don't have a personal computer at home, neither does my fiance.I actually got the name of the hotel from a previous post on these boards. If that was you - thanks!! We're very excited to go.

I just got back from Grenada. I saw a sign for the hotel and took a walk to check it out. It's located on the first bay just south of Morne Rouge Bay. To get to it, you take the road to Morne Rouge and turn left on the gravel road just past the Flamboyant Hotel and Grand View Inn. Follow this road above Morne Rouge Bay, and eventually it will take you to the next bay. The hotel was very isolated and seemed very quiet. The beach, although rather small, really looked inviting, with clear, calm water and nice sand. There were trees to provide shade.

Brian,
Thank you so much for posting that. It is so hard to be comfortable with a hotel that just opened in December and has no reviews! Not being able to see the website doesn't help either. At least now I know it exists and the beach looks good. Thanks again!!!!!!
Allison

Brian, I forgot to ask - did it look nice? (the hotel I mean). You didn't say. I know it's very small, which is what we're lookin for. I didn't book it yet so I'd rather know if it didn't look good- it's supposed to be an up and coming boutique hotel and really nice but who really knows? All I know is the management company Crown International has several other very nice hotels, the Isle de France in St. Barths and Cotton House in Mustique, and the manager is very pleasant and helpful (I've emailed him with ?'s).
Thanks for any extra info...Allison

Went on the website yesterday, great site, has the sound of rolling waves. Not a lot of detail, but lots of gorgeous pictures. Very rustic in an upscale way (if that makes sense). I mean lots of wood, thatched roofs, big beds with mosquito netting, looks wonderful and romantic! I want to go!

Allison,
When I walked to LaLuna, I didn't go past the front gate and really didn't get a good look, but I think the previous person put it nicely - "rustic in an upscale way". I did see a dining area or some sort of common area near the beach. I was there around 8 in the morning and saw not one person. If you're looking for privacy and peace and quiet, this looks like a good place.

I went there for dinner the second week of Feb. The food was excellent as was the service. All the rooms are small cottages. A bit pricey in my opinion.
