Snorkeling - Warning
My family of 9 recently cruised to Bermuda. 3 months prior to our trip I booked by email with Fantasea. Fantasea requested that I contact them when our ship arrived to confirm our departure pending bad weather. When I contacted them the day before our snokeling sail Fantasea explained that they had cancelled our reservation and given the entire ships reservations over to the Royal Carribean! Ironically, it was the Royal Carribean that we had just arrived on. Unforturnately, Fantasea neglected to notify us that they not only were cancelling the trip but were giving the reservations over to the cruise line that we were guests with and we could have booked the excusion through Royal Carribean's guest services desk. This is especially disturbing as Fantasea had for 3 months all the information they needed to contact us including our email address, home address, phone number, and cruise information. Sadly, our party of 9 did not get to enjoy the snorkeling in Bermuda.

That's terrible. We have enjoyed our excursions with Fantasea in the past and they are actually quite professional if you're on their boat. There are other companies to deal with. So sorry it happened to you and hope you still had fun in Bermuda.

I don't get it.
"When I contacted them the day before our snokeling sail Fantasea explained that they had cancelled our reservation and given the entire ships reservations over to the Royal Carribean!"
Did you check with RC excursion desk at that point (one day prior) to see if there was room for you - and there wasn't? Or did you not visit the excursion desk? Sorry I just don't understand.
