Sandy Lane or Little Dix Bay??
Would appreciate any feedback on Sandy Lane vs. Little Dix Bay for a week holiday with a 2.5 year old? I know they are quite different but trying to get feedback on both. We also looked into Tortuga Bay, Parrot Cay and St. John but narrowed it down to these two. We have been to Anguilla, Antigua, Aruba, Mexico, Nevis, and wanted to try something new.
Thanks in advance!

Little Dix for the above reason, unless you want to explore the island for its culture, history, animal preserve, cave, gardens. For that, Barbados is a wonderful island. Sandy Lane is on the best beach on the island and fine for kids.

Sandy Lane is at least twice as expensive as Little Dix Bay, so I'm not sure if that is or is not a consideration. We're talking a minimum of $1K per night for Sandy Lane in the off-season, without meals except breakfast. I think Little Dix Bay may be a third of that in the off-season, and you can often book packages there in the off-season that can bring costs down a bit.

Agreed for the above reasons - Little Dix is more comfortable in it's own skin, and you can also take a boat trip to enjoy other BVI islands, visit the Baths with your 2.5 year old (what toddler doesn't love HUGE rocks), and not spend literally $1600/night for the same luxury service.
Only thing at Little Dix would be to consider the room type - some are more "modernized" than others.
