Sandy Lane - new marketing material

My parents received a new packet of marketing materials from Sandy Lane yesterday. They had visited in the past and requested info when available after the renovations. My mother reports that the hotel looks wonderful and the materials were impressive. She also said rate for an ocen front room in season is now $2,000 per night.
I can't wait to see the materials myself to see what could justify that nightly rate.

I took a "sneak peek" at Sandy Lane when in Barbados in February. It was only a quick one and wished that I could have seen more but there were some guests staying there - friends of the "owners" I was told! And what I saw was absolutely breath-taking ... don't know if $2000 a nite breath-taking or not but if that's the going rate, guess the peek will have to suffice!!

Penny,
I went to the web site and it is still under construction. I checked to have 'em send me the literature and to notify me when the site is up. In the meantime, I will keep buying lottery tickets or looking for a very very rich old man (preferably with a very weak heart and no dependents or heirs)! LOL

I looked at the materials over the 4th. They came in the shape of one hard-covered book and one soft-covered book. The hard-covered book has loads of pictures. The rooms are very elegant with a lot of mirrors, dark fabrics and fluffy pillows. The main pool area has a waterfall and is a non-traditional shape. The restaurant has a grand piano and a small bar. The bar on the lower level has been retained, but upgraded. The soft-covered book is dedicated to the spa. Every few rooms appear to share a butler. I can't wait to see their website.
