We've been to 2 Sandals in our mid 40's and 50's with no problems. Also been to the Jewell Dunn' River which was formally a Sandals. Never felt out of place due to age. Sandals are such an expensive, stuffy type of resort you won't find many 20 somethings as it's not within their budget or atmosphere.
Additionally, Grenada is pretty much difficult to get to from many US cities and airfare is more expensive than other destinations. I really can't see people who are not older with more travel experience venturing there. Maybe a few for a honeymoon it which the trip was a gift.

There is such a mix of age groups at hotels I would not be concerned. Although Grenada might be difficult to get to from parts of the US, it's fairly easy to get to from the UK so is a popular island just like Barbados St Lucia Antigua etc so you do see young people & families.
