It is the Best of the Sandals Properties. I thought the food was very good (especially the Jalapena Poppers). The private island is very nice.
It is more Upscale and also more expensive that other Sandals. The surroundings are lush.
Rooms are nice. The Villas (garden, not ocean view are fantastic but expensive.)
Gran Luxe Ocean View is a good room category.
Remember Bahamas are only 30 minutes off of Miami, so you can get cooler weather up until about Mid-April.
We stayed there in December and it WAS NOT bathing suit weather.

Pricey but beautiful property. The two main pools are very impressive - huge and the center of activity. Food was excellent - really enjoyyed Casanaova's. Beach is smaller than it appears in the brouchure but nice one on the island is beautiful and very quiet. Great evening entertainment each night. More casual then in the brouchure as well. We thought rooms in the newer Windsor Block were nicer then MAnor - brighter building inside. Gardens are very private.

We would have to say that the Bahama's Sandals has the most upscale rooms and the surrounding gardens, statues and the offshore island are wonderful along with the snorkeling. The food was not what it is at the other Sandals - not sure why since all the food comes from Jamaica. The Playmakers work very hard here, but we suspect many of these people are maybe more interested in the casinos on the island. It was nice, but we probably won't go back there again. Mostly because it was rather cool and I spent a lot of time wrapped up in my beach towel!

I have to agree the resort is beautiful. We liked it so much my daughter was married their this past May. The food is great the service a little slow but thats usually how it is in the islands.
Lots of places to visit "a must Atlantis". We swam with the dolphins and took a Dinner Cruise and had a blast on both. We booked deluxe but were upgraded to an oceanview suite which was perfect. We are 4 time returnees to Sandals so we love there resorts, am off to another one in Jamaica on Feb 22 . If you have any ?'s feel free to email me.
