San Juan with senior citizen
Hi everyone,
I'll be on a Princess Caribbean cruise in Feb 2024 with my 85 year old mom. She has had both knee and hip replacement in recent years. She can walk, but long distances, stairs, and steep terrain are tough for her. I know that Old Town is compact, but a bit hilly in places. Princess offers "easy" (ie. senior-friendly) shore excursions for our other ports of call, but not for San Juan.
Does anyone have recommendations for how to arrange a nice outing for my mom? She would love to just stroll around Old Town and we do plan to bring her walker. Are there things we can see within a few blocks of the port that will allow her to get a feel for Old Town without completely wearing her out? Or any recommended excursions we can book at the port that would be senior-friendly?
Thanks for any suggestions!
