RWI booked: Where else to stay on Provo?

We are headed to Provo for a week in 6 weeks. Our first choice, Royal West Indies, is booked. Lots of places are starting to book up also as it is school vacation week here on the East Coast. Where else would you recommend? We want something right on the beach, hopefully with a good restaurant, clean, comfy, good service, etc...Also, it seems as though there are lots of construction complaints recently, so I would like to take that into considerations. We went to Aruba and Anguilla last year, stayed at the Radisson and Ku respectively, and liked both of them. Nothing over $350/night, please. Thanks so much

We loved Ocean Club. It was further down on the beach, but kind of quiet.

The restaurants were very good and the place was clean and well run.

Peace

6 weeks is tough to find anything! I think you will find lots of places sold out, so you'll just have to go where they take you, even if it means construction.

Because of construction-check out Alexandra-will meet your budget. It's nice, and if the construction bugs you during the day, walk on the beach towards Sands to hang out.

Also try: www.vrbo.com for places

Try TradewindsCondotel, Island Club, Caribbean Paradise Inn, and Seagate. Try calling all directly, the only way to trully know if they have rooms. These are usually the last to fill up, but if these are full, you may have to try a villa.

blamona: Thanks for your reply on both of my threads. There is some availability at The Sands, and the 2 Ocean Clubs...which would you recommend and why?

I would stay at both, both are nice, but I do give the edge to Sands-better location, better bathrooms, and if windy and wavy, better stretch of beach.
