Rum Point or Hell?
Will be on a cruise stopping at Grand Cayman. Are we better off doing Stingray City, snorkelling and Rum Point tour or Stingray City and Island tour including Hell?
Would like to go to Hell, but from all the boards get the idea that it is nothing much and a waste of time.

We spent a week in Grand Cayman and opted for the Island tour one day and the sting ray city snorkel trip another day. We did not go to Rum Point only because our hotel had a fabulous stretch of beach with amenties that we could use. Being on the Island just a short while it all depends on what you are looking for. We really enjoyed the Island tour and got to experience a lot of the tourist areas.
Hell was really nothing. A small area of black rock formations with a gift shop and post office. We spent maybe 10 minutes there, but took several pics as memories.

You should DEFINITELY do the Stingray City/Rum Point trip over the Island tour. My husband and I did the island tour as well and thought it was a waste of time. Cayman is ALL about the water so do as much water stuff as possible. You won't regret it whereas I'm afraid you will feel like you missed out if you do the island tour.
Hope this helps.
