I really enjoyed my stay there in February. The service was excellent, the food was excellent, and I have never been more relaxed in my whole life. The only negative for me was the distance the resort is from the airport. You should know that it is a very quiet resort with little to no entertainment in the evenings.

I love Plantation. We are going there for the third stay in December and also went a 4th time on a day pass. It isn't for everyone. If you want to walk miles down a beach, don't go there. If you are room people and "foodies", this is the place.

Meals are the highlight of the day. They even have a lobster BLT at the most casual lunch restaurant now, and we like the mixed seafood grill they do at lunch at the other restaurant.

They don't have floaties, and that is my only other negative on this place.

We just got back from Royal Plantation. This was our 2nd stay and it just keeps getting better. It is quiet and elegant and the food is unbelievable. This resort is beautiful in every way. The staff is wonderful. Evenings are quiet with low key but wonderful entertainment. You are next door to Sandals Ocho Rios and close to Beaches Grande Sport and Sandals Dunn's River. You have exchange privileges at all so there is more entertainment if desired. I give it 6 stars
