Retreat at Rum Point

I have been reading about the condos at Retreat at Rum Point. Anyone have any experience here?

Just type in Retreat in the search box on this board. Sandy has several posts. She stays there twice a year.

Is the water at Rum Point rougher than on SMB? Just wondered since diving at the north wall is rougher.
Thanks.
BB

To BB,
At Rum Point you have the best of both worlds, the leeward side(calm) and the windward side(waves).

The calmness of the water on the North side is dependent on the season and the prevailing breeze. In winter the wind is generally out of the NE, so the North Side has more breeze and rougher surf. In summer it's out of the S or SE, so we often are dead calm on North Side. That's why so amny divers come in the summer months, the North Wall is perfect for diving.
