Restaurant by San Juan Airport
I went to a restaurant very close to the airport in San Juan (probably only a few blocks away) and can't remember the name/location. It had wonderful Puerto Rican cuisine, and was decorated, inside and out, with lots of great, fun antiques. I would like to go again this November, does anyone know the name of this restaurant?

Thanks for the reply. I know that the building itself looked like an old-fashioned Puerto Rican house with a wood porch, and inside there were wooden booths to sit. It wasn't located in a strip, as there was not much else around this free-standing building. Honestly, the best clues are the many antiques in front and inside the place (old wooden washboards and such right in the front yard) and that it was so close to the airport that I remember you could see the fence that surrounded the airport property. This was a few years ago (about 6 or 7), but I'm hoping this place is still there!

On this page, there's a picture of the Metropol as I remember it.

When I read your description, I was imagining something completely different, but you'll know if this is what you were talking about ...
