Renting Fins on Cayman?

Hey!

We are planning a trip to Grand Cayman and already own snorkles & masks....

Does anyone know about how much $$$ per day it will be for us to rent fins??
($5, $10 ...)

I am trying to decide if it is worth bringing my own fins Vs. renting???

Thanks!

When we were there we paid $15 per day for a fins, snorkel & mask. I'm guessing you'll pay at least $10 for just fins... bring your own if you going to snorkel a lot and save some $$$$.... we bought our own set for our next trip.

Lori

If you have already purchased the snorkel and masks you might as well get the fins too. Nothing in Cayman is
in-expensive. And the money you spend on renting you could just buy them.

If you have room in your lugagge I recommend bringing an inflatable raft too. The sun gets so hot its difficult not to be in water. We rented them but it was $11/per day and I will bring one next time.

Thanks for the advice, ... Is the water calm enough on SMB for an inflatable raft?? .... or do we have to go to a different beach?

There are no waves at all. We went right after the tropical storm came by (Aug.)and it was fine. Most hotels have rope lines to keep you from floating too far. But its great to just float all day and watch the clouds go by

enjoy!!!!!!
