Randolins at Tryall - A Jamaican Gem!

In August of 2002, I had the unique opportunity to stay at the Randolins Villa at the Tryall Resort and Club in Montego Bay.

We stayed in the Guest Quarters just a short walk from the main house of the Randolins property. The ocean was within 20 yards of our room. To wake up and hear the sounds of the ocean is awesome.

The property has it's own staff and they are outstanding. They basically wait on your every need. In the past when I have travelled to certain resorts in Jamaica, the food has been less then stellar. At Randolins, the staff will prepare whatever it is that you would like. You can create your own meal.

The Tryall Resort brings together the relaxtion of an old style traditional Jamaican resort with all the amenities and technology of today.

With the ocean splashing up on the property at Randolins, a swim is only a couple of steps away. The Randolins property also has a unique pool that is great to lounge in and bask in the sun.

I would not only recomend Randolins as a great vacation villa but the Tryall Resort itself if Randolins is unavailable.

It looked as if there was extensive work being done on their Championship Golf Course to make it an even finer golf course for vacationers.

Enjoy the Red Strip and the Sun and if you want to see more, checkout Randolins.com or Tryall.com

You might even see the Marley Boys Jamming away in preparation for their Reggae Sumfest appearance!

Sounds fantastic. Have visited Tryall before but always stayed up on the hillside. That Randolins website looks great- private white sand beaches are a rarity on the North Coast of Jamaica. Is the no A/C a problem? I personally prefer fans and ocean breezes but don't want to be unable to sleep, thanks.

Checked out the website, house looks nice, what are the rates? Have stayed at Round Hill and visited Tryall for a couple of rounds of golf. Looking to return to Jamaica with a group and thinking that a self-sufficient villa might be more fun than RH's communal dining/living setup. Private beach is a big plus and you say good things about the "sea-pool". We've also recommended either RH or Tryall to friends for a wedding- would this be a good villa to include among the several properties for private beach access? Thanks

I've played some golf at Tryall in the past and plan on spending a week in a villa next Spring. Friends of ours have stayed at Tryall in the past and can't say enough good things about the villas and staff. We've stayed at the Ritz and Round Hill and Jamaica's our favourite vacation destination. I'll submit a full review next April. To the poster recommending Tryall for weddings: I think it would be an ideal location because of the intimacy of the venue and sheer beauty of the location. Golf's great too.

Rates are posted on www.tryallclub.com. Tryall's one of the Caribbean's best-kept secrets. If you enjoy golf, tennis, watersports, a sophisticated, country club atmosphere and a place of unparalleled beauty go to Tryall, fast. All the villas are very different but quality of amenities and staff are a constant. Enjoy.

We've stayed at No Le Hace and Hilltop but been meaning to try a beachfront villa. We'll check out Randolins, thanks Jay.
