Radisson Aruba Which Tower?
Hi All, we've finally decided to stay at the Radisson Aruba because of all the excellent reviews, but I can't decide which tower to stay in, and which category of room to get.
This is a stupid question, but I really hate the smell of smoke, and since the Radisson has a casino I want to make sure none of the smoke travels up to our room. Do you know if one tower is better than the other, or if it's even something to be concerned about? Also, is one tower better than the other for view, or proximity to beach, restaurants, etc?
Also, I'm not sure which category of room to get, garden, partial ocean, or oceanview. I really like to hang out on the balcony in the mornings since my husband loves to sleep late, even on vacation, and I like to look out at the beautiful scenery and read my book. Do you think it's worth the extra money to book oceanview or partial oceanview?
Thanks everyone for your help!!

Hi. I just booked my trip to aruba yesterday as well. I do prefer the aruba tower. I booked it throught american airlines vacation and they requested that tower for me. I also requested a garden view room. For the amount of time I will be in the room I did not feel the extra few hundred dollars was worth it. I hope I am not sorry. I have heard that no matter where we stay at the sheraton we will not be sorry. I debated a long time between the hyatt and the raddison and the radisson won out. We will be there the first week in march. I can't wait.

Hey Everyone!
I too will be going to Aruba somtime in March/April..so keep the info coming!
Luv: I hear good things about the Radisson..dont know which tower is better..but I would suggest asking for a non-smoking room..As for which view, hmm I'm always one for a nice room..but I agree with Marshall..I dont plan on staying in my room my whole tripI would rather save the money and use it for a nice dinner..
Marshall: What kind of package deal did you get and how many nights?

Try doing a text search for Aruba Radisson and you'll get a lot of info. There were quite a few discussions going about the merits of the various towers and other useful info about the Rad this past Spring. My vote: definitely the Aruba--rooms are bigger and a little nicer. As to paying extra for the view, that is a matter of what's important to you. I paid the extra for the oceanview and found it worth the $$$. But I also love to sit on the balcony and watch the ocean in the early morning with my coffee and in the evening before going for dinner. It's important to me, so I always pay extra to ensure an ocean view. Anyway, it's a fine hotel and you will have a great time.

Just to be different I am going to say that we actually prefered the Bonaire Tower over the Aruba Tower. The little bit of extra space in our room in the Aruba tower did not make up for the convenient location of the Bonaire Tower as well as views of the ocean, pools, and gardens. No waiting for elevators etc. just a walk down to the end of the hall and out to the pool and beach. We book using www.aruba4u.com and have never had a bad experience requesting accommodations
