We are planning to stay at the Radisson Aruba during our trip to the island. There is a package which includes breakfast for 2 each morning, would you recommend this?
Also, are the pool and beach areas right near each other at this resort?
We welcome any advice from people who've stayed here since this is our first trip to Aruba.

You will enjoy the Radisson very much. If you plan to eat a full breakfast every morning the plan comes in handy. The pool and beach are very close to each other at the resort. It has a great pool - great beach. I also recomend checking out this board for restaurant recomendations. Aruba has some really great restaurants. My favorites are El Gaucho, Chalet Suisse, and Lindas pancake and pizza. You will have a great time.

Thanks so much for your response!
Also, just wondering if there were any recommendations on which tower to stay in while we are there. We are non-smokers, and had heard there were a lot of smoking floors at the hotel.
Does anyone know of this from first hand experience?

We stayed at the Radisson in July and loved it. We had a room that was ground level not in the tower and at first thought we would be disappointed but it turned out to be great. It was close to the pool so we just walked out the door and we were there. We also had a great little patio to sit out on that was surrounded by greenery. In regards to breakfast, if you plan to eat a full breakfast that would be great because breakfasts will run you about $15 each at most places.

The RAd is the best. Aruba tower is so georgeous...The breakfast plan is wonderful, the omeletes are the best I have had. .....if you do the breakfast plan ask for Rudy and tell him that he is still being mentioned on the message boards as the best host in Aruba. He loves that, and he will treat you like royalty. Enjoy!
