Prostitution in St.Lucia

We went to Dominican Rep. 2 years ago, and several times was approached by prostitutes. We (my wife and I) are going to St. Lucia in March. Is this a problem there. Is it Legal?

No. From what I can tell, it's not a problem at all. Never noticted one and I've been there twice, the last time we toured all over the island.

prostitution is nit really a problem in st lucia. if you visit a strip club - and there ain't many - you will of coarse find some. i should know i live there

I guess I can add that as another reason why I don't like the DR and don't like to recommend it.

Been to 13 Carribean Islands including the DR and St. Lucia abd have never been approached for that reason. Hmmmm, maybe it's just us????

mmmm...

another very strange Carribean thread trawled up after ten years. This is becoming a trend.

This one is a little tame.

I did love the one on "which island is best for swinging couples". Our current regime didn't like it and deleted it 30 minutes after it was trawled up.
