Plunge Pool ensuite

I'm looking for a resort in the Caribbean preferably in the USVI within the budget of 500USD per night that has a plunge pool over looking the ocean.. any ideas? Not necessarily the USVI but preferable.

If u know of any similar resorts in Cancun or Cabo San Lucas I'd appreciate the help

At that price no way you'll get a plunge pool, can't barely get oceanfront without a pool or hot tub at all at that price.

Can't think of anywhere in Virgin Islands with private pools, unless you go to a private island, (around $50,000 a stay plus)

Private plunge pools not in your budget:

Sandals resorts has some, in most of their properties. The one at Beaches TCI has them facing ocean in Key West village, have to get entire villa. They start at $1500 nightly for the REGULAR rooms.

There are a couple of resorts with plunge pools in St .Barts

Cap Jaluca in Anguilla has private plunge pools

Exumas has a couple of places with them

Overall, caibbean is expensive destination, you'll be hard pressed for your budget to find anything like that.

If you find them you will find the more reasonably priced ones at Dominican republic and Mexico.

The other islands when they offer something like that will be ultra expensive.

I would follow up on your Cancun and Cabo San Lucas idea. Mexico generally speaking is a lot more afforable than any Caribbean island. I'm no expert on luxury travel, but I'm afraid even there your budget might be low for what you request.

We are going to st. Lucia in a few days, staying at fond doux estate. The honeymoon suites have small private pools, but they overlook the rain forest and the beautiful pitons, not the ocean. It's was a package, so I'm not sure if the nightly rate, but i think its close to your budget, or even under, and the rooms are beautiful!

You could possibly get a villa (not resort) with a plunge pool and an ocean view (not front) on St. John. I've seen some resorts in Mexico that have swim up rooms which are pretty cool. Not sure if they are ocean view though. Happy Travels!

Here's an idea of what you can get in a villa on St. John....grab a couple more friends to share the cost.

I agree with other on the suggestion of a villa. There are tons of villas over looking the ocean, that have private pools for well below that price range. For $500 a night, you can get an amazing villa on St John, that will have pool, hot tub, and a ocean view to die for.

We had a fabulous home with a pool and ocean view on Virgin Gorda/ Mahoe Bay. It was called Open Deck (you can Google it). The house is a 1 minute walk to Mahoe Bay where we had the beach mostly to ourselves. Great for snorkeling too. We went at the beginning of the off season, in April and it was $2700 a week. Virgin Gorda is amazing, mainly because of The Baths. Here is a link to photos of the villa and the vacation: https://picasaweb.google.com/maggiwu...eat=directlink
