thanks for the tip! I have heard that the Southern palms is on a beautiful beach. is it? would there tend to be more kids at the accra, because we are looking to avoid kids?

Accra is beautiful. The beach there is frequented by locals. However, Southern Palms is more family oriented, so I'd would think more children there.

isn't that a bad thing if the beach at the accra is frequented by locals? what makes the southern palms more family oriented and is it on a beautiful beach?most of the pictures of the accra only show the pool and I prefer the beach.

The beach at Southern Palms is nice - more waves than someplaces. It's hard to say what would work best. I might suggest looking into Coral Sands Beach Resort -- the beach there is one of the nicest around and it's a new, all-suite resort. Also, it's within walking distance of St. Lawrence Gap for nightlife. You can check out their site at http://www.coralsandsresort.com

we will be leaving from canada and are looking for an air and hotel package during Christmas. I don't believe the coral sands is a package.
