Oh yeah...try to get to the Registrar's office in the town he was born QUICK (or pay for overnite delivery) and get a copy of the birth certificate with the raised seal.

MoBay is International flying. With the stringent measures now, everyone has to have ID.

I HIGHLY recommend for future - domestic and international travel - get passports. It takes time to get the photos, processing of the paperwork, but it's worth all the aggrevation.

I had a similar situation once traveling abroad. I couldn't for the life of me find my birth certificate or passport. I thought I knew exactly where it was and had moved couldn't find it. I called and had it sent overnight delivery. It arrived the day I left for the airport. It is possible. It can work out. It is just stress you don't need!!!

I did just that, called the registrar's office (it was in another state and since my mother lived there they said she could pick one up and overnight it to me. It was so stressful and my son by the way is 24, I stayed up all night last night trying to find it. We are going to be staying at the Wyndam Rose Hall Resort and we couldn't get all-inclusive which is going to suck because my other two sons are 19 and 22. This is our Christmas present to them and us. Thank you all so much for your input, it really was a life saver. I hope you all have a great Xmas and a wonderful New Year.
What a Mamma's boy you have brought up.

At 24 years-of-age, your son should be responsible enough to look after his own paperwork. The thought of poor mamma staying up all night worrying about a grown man (or he should be) and running around for him is disgusting.

I traveled the world at 20 years-of-age including university in Europe. I made my own arrangements, took care of myself, payed my own way with my summer earnings, and was responsible for my actions. My mommy didn't have to hold my hand and wipe my tushie.

But then again, as it is only 4 days till you leave, and you have left your preparations for the last minute, then have to appeal to Fodor's readers for help, I guess he doesn't have very good genes to start with.

Glad to be my own man.

You know for all you know he could have a mental problem, health issues. How dare you come on here with your snooty attitude.

Jana, you will find all these papers when you get home!! Guarenteed. I apologize for the rude remarks by some people.

I booked our trip through expedia and they said they had no more all inclusive. I booked in October so maybe that's why I really don't know. But it will be okay anyway I'm sure.

And to Independent,my son just graduated from college in August and I was going through his paperwork to locate the document and couldn't find it.(as he has just moved to another state) The only response to you is: A true "MAN" would never be so rude especially to someone he has never met. But then I didn't raise you and I would never dare to say your mother didn't raise you properly, your just independent and don't learn. From time to time everyone misplaces something in their life, and when you do (because you're no exception)I hope you will be able to ask for someone's advice and get a kind response instead of the one you gave me. May God Bless YOU.
