I would not recomend the Bahamas if you like to snorkel as is not very good there. You can go to Miami a have the same color water and sea life to see. I also did not think the people there were that friendly. I would rather try St. Thomas.

Bahamas can be cold this time of year, and IMHO, after 4 trips there, Paradise island is awful- Definitly St. Thomas, with possibility of a day trip to St. John

Skip St Thomas and go to St John. I agree that the Bahamas may be kind of cold at this time of year.

Even though I did not recommend the Bahamas I disagree about the comments on the temperature as today it was 82 and the average this time of year is high 70's low mid 60's. To me that is perfect.

Suzie: Paradise Island is high rise hotels and casinos. If you like that action (and many do!), go for it. St Thomas has low rise hotels, no casinos and more water oriented activity. What is it that you all like to do?

Ladies, go to St. Thomas. There are lots of direct flights into there, and you can have a great time not just hanging out at the beach, but also exploring the British Virgin Islands 1 day and duty free shopping is great in Charlotte Amalie (go directly to Raadets Gade, a street there - best jewelry for the bucks). Definitely take the ferry over to St. John 1 day. At this point, you might even get great last minute air/hotel deals.

Have a great time!
