Try the Alamanda Resort. It is right on the beach bang in the middle, is close to the best beach bars, and also to the shops, restaurants and bars in Orient Village. None of the others are RIGHT ON THE BEACH, though some claim to be, possibly having a couple of rooms that are !

An alternative could be the Esmeralda Resort, where some of the properties (they are small apartments with small shared pools) are very close to the beach - there is also a good restaurant on site - but it is not quite so central to the main activity. You would have to walk a few hundred yards along the beach to get to main activity. Oh dear !!

One further thought. If you fancy something a bit 'different', try 'Club Orient'.

This is a 'clothing optional' resort at the far end of Orient Bay. It is front line to a very nice section of the beach.

It is not - as I understand it - TOTALLY obligatory to be stark naked there all the time, but if you feel so inclined, you can be.

First thing every morning - before 9am - a lot of the guests there walk the length of Orient Bay completely naked. Most of them would look much better if they kept their clothes on, and some of the sights tend to upset even my dog when I take her there for her early morning walk.

If it's your scene, try it !

I have often considered what I refer to as the Paradox of Nudity. I note that, in general, there is an inverse proportion of bodily beauty to public nakedness....

Everyone at Club Orient is nude. That's why they go. You will not feel comfortable if you remain clothed there.

Just back from Orient Beach, If you are still looking for a place to stay, I was very impressed with Palm Court. Esmeralda is super nice, quiet, great restaurant. There is a lot of variation in the rooms, and the more expensive ones are DEFINITELY nicer.
