old San Juan Puerto Rico

Going to P.R. Jan 1 for ten days and thinking of going to old San Juan on Jan 6 for 3 kings day. Is it easy to park and is that a good day to see O.S.J. or should we pick another day or is that a good time to go there?Trying to plan out a few other things to do so if you got a good idea would love to hear about it thanks

We're going to be in Old SJ that day but I'm not sure how the holiday will affect parking. I guess it will make things worse!
We intend to take a taxi from the Condado area.

Can anyone else comment on the Three Kings Holiday in SJ?

Thank you . We may do the bus into Old San Juan or maybe just get there about 9am on Jan 6 and have breadfest
and stay the day.On the map looks like parking early is easy. May still take a bus which could make driving in easy too. Been to Condado many times yrs ago and know that traffic can be very heavy.Just maybe we will meet

Parking is always difficult in OSJ. Take a bus or taxi if you can.

DON'T go to Old San Juan on January 6th. The whole city is closed for the holiday. We were there 2 years ago on January 6th and all we could find open was Walgreen's, Subway and McDonalds and the casino at the Wyndham. When you go parking is very premium, we took the bus from the hotel and walked around. The public buses are great and very cheap.

It's nearly impossible to fight the traffic into OSJ on any given weekend evening, so I can't imagine trying to get there on the holiday.

I'd try it a different day.

ok , so we wont go on Jan 6 to old San Juan and will pick another day like a Monday. Thanks for your information on everything being closed . As for driving in is it still a bad idea? What about parking else where and taking bus in to O.S.J.
Other question I have is can we do on jan 6 3 kings day.Is everything close that day everywhere? Thank you for your reply .
