Newbies looking for some help!!!
First i would like to say that i have been reading these forums for 2 weeks and theyre so interesting and you guys are unbelievably helpful so i thought id get some help from the pro's!
My boyfriend and I are looking to go away, not until next year so it's not urgent but am so anxious, i wanted to start now and do some research.
We will be 20 and 23 when we plan on going, and are looking for a fairly inexpensive all inclusive as we love to drink on vacation, especially on the beach! Even if its not too cheap, AI is a must! We would also like the hotel to be on the beach so there is not too much traveling involved to relax on the beach, fairly quiet, uncrowded beaches as well. Some nightlife would be good because were so young but thats more for my boyfriend since im an "80 yr old woman" (according to him) and dont mind just spending the week relaxing with him. Great snorkeling is a must! jet ski rentals and other watersports as well but those are usually a give in. Nice restaurants as well so it gives us a variety and a chance to go somewhere other than the hotel. Fairly good shopping as well. Last but not least, day activities we could do such as excursions, and other such trips we could plan.
I know its a lot but im confident i will get nothing but the best results from you guys! One more thing, I have been to Curacao and we went to the Bahamas last year-didnt like the bahamas because we stayed in Nassau and just too many people and not very clean to relax! So a new island is a must!!
Thanks so much guys!!!

The official Hurricane Season for all of the Caribbean runs from June 1 through November 30 with peak activity usually being from September 1 through October 15. As the past 2 seasons have shown major storms can and do occur outside of the "peak times". Keep in mind that the Caribbean is a big area and not every island is affectied by every storm. While there are no gurantees when it comes to Mother Nature if you avoid the "peak season" the odds are in your favor you'll encounter typical tropical weather regardless of what island you select.
You'll find plenty of AI on Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Cancun and Cozemel - almost all will have access to the watersports you are seeking.

Actually, June through December 1st is peak season for hurricanes, tropical storms, and tropical depressions and it is very common for storms to happen outside this six month time frame.
For your ages, I highly suggest a Cancun all inclusive.
I've been all over the Bahamas and Carribbean and I love Cancun and the area. It is the one place I keep coming back to.
