Need help with Booking the Ritz

Hubby and I are interested in visiting Montego Bay next July. What is the best way to book a trip with accomodations at the Ritz Carlton (travel agent, hotel, apple vacations, airjamaica, etc.)? We want to get the best rate (all-inclusive)possible.

We were at the Ritz this past August.

We booked through our travel agent. The AI with room service was $300 per day for both of us. We were in an ocean view room.

Travel agent got the best rate...he booked through Air Jamaica.

Have fun. That place is awesome!

We were there in July also but book ourselves via the resort. Also paid $300 for 2 adults and a child. We however were upgraded to a ocean front suite. I firmly believe it is because I had developed a "relationship" with the front desk mgmt prior to our arrival. As Marie says.......it's a great property!

Have fun!

It's amazing what happens when you treat people with respect and speak decently to them.
That's all....nothing more..really!

Actually, no matter how you book a vacation, if you ask for an upgrade and the room is available most of the time you will get the upgrade. We always use a trave agent and have been upgraded 90% of the time. All you have to do is ask.

You can have a travel agent check with the big packagers like Apple, Air Jamaica, etc. and also check online through Travelocity and the other dotcom's. Then compare the costs with booking on your own. We ended up making our air reservations thru Delta and booked directly with the Ritz for a trip this December as we found that the costs were about the same and I prefer the flexibility that I have with booking on my own. We are paying $300 a night all inclusive.
