Of all places, Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurant chain now has conch on their menu! i know you're always looking for it. May not be like being at the islands, but it might help! there's one in Woodbridge, one in Fredericksburg. If you decided to come down and try it, you'd better meet me!

There's a local seafood store that sells canned conch by us (west chester, pa). It's delicious. My DH makes a mean conch salad now! You could try your local seafood stores too-maybe they'll have it? Best conch salad ever though (that I've had) is in Long Island, Bahamas at Max's Conch Bar, if you're looking to find an authentic conch salad!

kellybeaches - Your DH makes the conch salad from the canned conch? Is it the conch salad like ceviche style like in the islands? I'm going to have to look for that canned conch. Do you remember who makes it/what brand? I tried to have my Whole Foods order fresh conch for me once but wasn't that successful.

mymoosie, Yes, it's ceviche style like in the islands. His conch salad is pretty close to what you find in the islands. I'll check that store again when we go and get back to you w/the brand name. Maybe you can order it online?
