I know there are opposing opinions about Beaches (there are two in negril, Jamaica and one in Turks and Caicos) but we really loved it there.

There is also the Radission on Cable Beach in the Bahamas, Atlantis also in the Bahamas, Windjammer in St. Lucia, Bucanneer in St. Criox, Many in Puerto Rico, Costa Linda in Aruba, Wyndham Rose, Sunset Beach, Renaissance Jamaica Grande all in Jamaica and there are always the family club meds.

I would definitely travel south of Bahamas simply because they suffer from the same weather as Florida.... and if it get's chilly in March in South Florida.... you're not going to the beach in Nassau.. I was in the Atlantis in January a couple of years back and spent the days covered with my towel from the cold. However, traveling with children I would look for places with easy airlift, good infrastructure (health-hospitals etc..)... but that's just me.
With kids, the west coast of Barbados, calm rolling water. Or Cayman, calm flat water. More to do on Barbados but Cayman if you want to snorkel. Food is better on Barbados & you feel you get what you pay for. Cayman's food is average but I figure we're really paying for safe, clean & modern.

Both have excellent hospital systems & both should be warm in March but not hot.
