LODGING IN CULEBRA, PR

Hi All: I'm thinking of going to Culebra in mid-July. Any recommendations for lodgings? Anyone with experience at Tamarindo Estates? Club Seabourne? Any other spots? I'd like a clean, well-landscaped place with a lovely spotless pool as well as reasonably close access to nice beaches. I'm wondering if it's possible to get a few touches of luxury on Culebra--you know, like a really comfortable bed and welcoming hosts. Clean! Thanks!

We just got back from Culebra you are not going to find big resorts like all-inclusive we stayed at culebra beach villa at Flamenco beach no pool and no resturaunt but it was awesome we have 4 kids the place was more like a cottage but it was cool. the rooms were nice Culebra is awesome but it is not touristy at all the beach we were on only had the one hotel you could only see 2 buildings when you looked on the beach paradise our family fell in love with culebra it was beautiful and peaceful. Type in culebra on your home page and you'll get a lot of sites go to culebra on-line and go to their forum you'll get tons of info and enjoy culebra!!!!!

I believe that Club Seaborne is the only hotel on the island with a freshwater swimming pool. I live in PR, and found everyone in Culebra to be incredibly friendly and welcoming (unlike PR itself). Don't miss Flamenco Beach--one of the most gorgeous I've ever seen!

Culebra is small, so everything is close. If you're adventurous and don't mind some ferocious heat, rent bikes. Otherwise, rent a car to see everything.
