LODGING IN CULEBRA, PR
 
Hi All: I'm thinking of going to Culebra in mid-July. Any recommendations for lodgings? Anyone with experience at Tamarindo Estates? Club Seabourne? Any other spots? I'd like a clean, well-landscaped place with a lovely spotless pool as well as reasonably close access to nice beaches. I'm wondering if it's possible to get a few touches of luxury on Culebra--you know, like a really comfortable bed and welcoming hosts. Clean! Thanks!

Lisa,<BR><BR>I was in Culebra about 4 years ago and it is still my best vacation ever. We stayed at Tamarindo - the beach there had get snorkeling- this island had some of the nicest beachs around- We went in March and could have beaches to ourselves for a whole day- Have a great time<BR>

Visit these website that can help in finding a place to stay.<BR><BR>www.culebra-island.com<BR>www.enchanted-isle.comCulebra may be described as Puerto Rico 20 years ago but you can always find a good b&b. Dont forget to visit flamenco beach it is one of the top 5 beaches in the worl. Nice and seclude with a beatiful view.

try this website-culebra.org It has alot of helpful info. I have been researching Culebra myself since I saw it on the travel channel, don't the beaches look great? Have a good trip.

We just got back from Culebra you are not going to find big resorts like all-inclusive we stayed at culebra beach villa at Flamenco beach no pool and no resturaunt but it was awesome we have 4 kids the place was more like a cottage but it was cool. the rooms were nice Culebra is awesome but it is not touristy at all the beach we were on only had the one hotel you could only see 2 buildings when you looked on the beach paradise our family fell in love with culebra it was beautiful and peaceful. Type in culebra on your home page and you'll get a lot of sites go to culebra on-line and go to their forum you'll get tons of info and enjoy culebra!!!!!

I believe that Club Seaborne is the only hotel on the island with a freshwater swimming pool. I live in PR, and found everyone in Culebra to be incredibly friendly and welcoming (unlike PR itself). Don't miss Flamenco Beach--one of the most gorgeous I've ever seen! <BR><BR>Culebra is small, so everything is close. If you're adventurous and don't mind some ferocious heat, rent bikes. Otherwise, rent a car to see everything.
