Hi folks! Looking for suggestions on an adult only AI somewhere in the carribean for December of this year. We've been to secrets silversands in Rivera maya and to the majestic in punts Cana. We LOVED secrets. The entertainment, pool, and bar were great. We didn't love Majestic but we loved the beach there. So, what is important to us is #1, adult only. #2, being close, I.e. Being able to see the ocean/beach, from the pool. #3, entertainment during the day and evenings. I can sit by a pool/ocean and read a book all day, everyday but my hubby needs games and other fun things. #4, good food and drinks. We're not too picky but would like at least some name brand liquors and beers.
We have looked into secrets maroma beach but are afraid it will be almost the same exactly as silver sands. We have also been to Aruba 5 times so we'd like somewhere different.
Our budget is around $4000 flights included. We are flying from Pittsburgh, PA.

Very few islands are known for AIs, and when you find one at other islands, even being AI they're not like the ones you've been too with many activities, just basically food and drinks (and limited restaurants)


So for what you want you really need to stick to Mexico and DR

A couple of other AI adult island resorts are way out of your price range--sandals in Antigua, and a couple in Jamaica

Your budget , your wants, DR and Mexico. Other islands even with AI here and there won't match wants and budget

Secrets Maroma may fit the bill. Great beach, very good food, excellent service and a lot of activities that are offered. Check out the reviews on tripadvisor.

Look into the Valentine Imperial Maya. It is an adults only AI in the Riviera Maya. Lots of activities or you can sit and relax.

The best all-adult AIs are in Mexico in my opinion. So I'd start looking there.
