Trip advisor.com is a paid commercial site funded by expedia et alii . Any comments/raves/pans/reviews on it should ALWAYS be taken with a big grain of salt...this fodor's site is considerably more believable

I have written a few reviews for trip advisor concerning a recent trip to Jamaica . Actually ended up conversing with other people who had written reviews as well. La Sagesse is also well rated by Caribbean Travel and Life , looks beautiful ! Faith

Suggest you have a look at www. grenadatravelforum.com for the latest information on hotel damage and reopening dates after Hurricane Ivan. Category is: "Info, news and help for Grenada after Ivan", Topic is: "Latest Status - Lodging & Businesses In Grenada". Most hotels and resorts are listed.

Have not actually stayed at La Sagesse but can say it is in a beautiful location and that it has been reopened since the hurricane struck.
Is situated at one end of the bay by a white sand beach going round in half moon shape and is part of a nature reserve.
Beach lost a few of its trees but many still standing and the area is green again. It is in an ideal place if you want a quiet get away from it all spot where you can relax and do as little as you like.
