Stayed at la Samanna two years ago for our Honeymoon, it was wonderful. we stayed in the basic room (cheapest!) and it was beautiful, overlooked the Ocean, with a fabulous balcony. We had gotten a package deal for 3 days so we spent 6 nights at Le Merridien, and 3 at La Samanna. The food was superb, expensive, but excellent. The service was top notch, and we had a wonderful experience. Feel free to contact me if you need any more info. <BR>

Leslie, Not sure what side to stay on in St. Martin/Marteen. Some say Dutch side have nicer people, is cleaner. Some say French side people are rude but restaurants are better. I hear La Samanna is beautiful. Do the suites have their own private pools? Help, we do not have much time to decide, we are leaving in September for our 15th Anniversary. Any infro. would greatly be apprecialted. Thanks!
