Kids14-16 for Nice-cheap-Caribb?
Hi guys- We are planning two Carribean
trips 2004 year with very little moola-$
I already have the "grown-up party" trip planned (Nov), that was easy. Now we need
something to do with the teen (Feb). We would like to spend $500 to $800 per person
from Boston. Any really good ideas from all you experts! Thanks!

That's a tough one since it is high season, the best thing would be a cruise, there are so many deals right now. We booked our family of four on Royal Carib. Navigator of the Seas and it was about $750 per adult and the third person in the cabin is less expensive so that might fit your budget. Anything else the airfare alone would be almost your entire budget.

Traveling from Boston in Feb., your best bet for staying within that budget is a charter flight. I would look at Apple, GWV, or TNT packages to Punta Cana or Jamaica.
The charters tend to be for larger resorts, usually all-inclusive (esp. in the D.R.), but that sort of place works well with teens - lots of activities, lots of other kids.

Well the least expensive place we have found in the Carribean is Isla Mujeres.
About 10 miles off Cancun. The neat thing is that the kids can just run because it is very safe although they may be offered smokes of various types.
