To Lbillings - I've gone down for several days by myself before the others in my party arrived. If you feel uncomfortable at a table, sit at the bar. You have the bartender to talk to, you can eat your meal and maybe not feel conspicuous if that's a problem for you. Places I've eaten by myself (at table) were Cracked Conch, Eats. If you want to go to the Reef Grill which is fab, I'd sit at the bar inside the restaurant. It's a nice quite place and seldom has anyone at it. I'd not walk the beach alone at night - to me that would be simple common sense - why invite a problem. Walking the steets in the early evening is not a problem. I'd go, have a great time and use the same common sense that you would at home. You'll be fine.
