Just curious,
What are some of the most memorable things that you have done while in Grand Cayman?
Examples:
Restaraunts
Snorkeling/Diving
Walks on beach or elsewhere
Car explorations
Shopping
Where and why.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to answer the questions.
P.s This is our favorite board by far for info on Grand Cayman as well as other areas.

Chartering a boat for our family of five and snorkeling at the sand bar, lobster area, coral gardens and especially the barrier reef. (Best snorkeling we've ever done!)
Snorkeling from the shore at different places around the island (Smith's Cove, Cemetery Reef).
Watching the blow holes (toward the East End of the island).

Well, I've lived here for 15 years, so I have an unfair advantage, what with having met my wife, got married, had three kids etc... so I'll abstain.... although the impromptu beach clean up at The Reef after Hurricane Charley was definitely high on my list of memorable moments, the guest really made lemonade out of lemons !

The most memorable things I did on GC are:
1. Standing in five feet of crystal clear water at Stingray City and feeling the rays brush up against my legs -- AND feeling safe!
2. Walking Seven Mile Beach with my hubby.
3. Sitting in a lawn chair at Rum Point and experiencing total relaxation in a gorgeous setting.
Can't wait to go back! What an awesome place!

I got married in Grand Cayman last December on 7 Mile beach at sunset in front of Villas of the Galleon. A Norwester had just blown through leaving the air clear and the waves crashing.
Then we had our wonderful wedding dinner at The Reef Grill and danced under the stars at the Royal Palms.

- (while snorkeling)Simply hovering over a bright colored Parrotfish crunching away at the coral...
- Holding my wife's hands from across the table at Smuggler's Cove, having an amazing dinner under the stars.
- While I'm talking food, the first time I sank my teeth into the Sea-Bass at the Reef Grill.
- My first wall dive....WOW!!
- Lying under the shade of a Seagrape tree, sipping a cocktail, gazing out at the 13 different shades of turquoise water along 7MB. It doesn't get any better.
- That first rush of warm air that hits your face as you step off the plane, and the sound of the Calypso music played by the two guys at the gate...ahh...we're here!!
- That first snorkel out at Eden Rock, being surrounded by fish, and a smile so big my snorkel letting water in!!
All the memories are great, but these are what stick in my mind....
