Just Back From Bermuda!!!
And it was incredible!! A little more expensive than some other islands, but well worth it. What a difference. I never felt so safe, and the island is so beautiful. The people were so nice also. My wife fell in love with Bermuda too - she can't stop talking about it. Stayed at Elbow Beach. Absolutely terrific, great service.

Got a terrific package from Discount Bermuda:
1-888-835-3268, then dial extension
"Bermuda" (2376832) or e-mail at [email protected]. It's hard to find discounted packages for Bermuda, but we were able to do so through them. Had all the tickets and brochures delivered to me. Good service.

We will definitely be making Bermuda our yearly vacation destination. Any questions, I would be happy to answer.

Please tell me what category of room you stayed in at Elbow Beach. We were there in May and left the resort because the rooms were so bad for the price they were charging. Very interested in specifics about your room. I could never recommend Elbow Beach. Did you get your room at some giveaway price? That is the only thing that could possibly make me want to consider the resort again. By the way, we loved Bermuda too. And to Harold, the beach and grounds at Elbow Beach are gorgeous. Our complaint was the rooms.

Kerrie,

When we left Elbow Beach, we stayed at the Southampton Princess. We were very happy with the rooms and the hotel. The grounds are also beautiful and there is a golf course on the property. The only reason I originally chose Elbow Beach over SHP was that the SHP is not directly on the beach. You can take a rather long walk to the beach or the hotel has free trolleys that run continously. Even though I still would have preferred to be directly on the beach, the SHP was far superior to Elbow Beach, so we were much happier once we changed hotels. Another plus for SHP is that there are 2 non-smoking floors if you happen to be a non-smoker. There were no such rooms at Elbow Beach. If you decide to go to Bermuda, you will absolutely love it. The people are incredibly friendly and the country is gorgeous.

My 80 yr old grandmother (80 going on 35) has never been to Bermuda, and she'd like to go next Spring. Since we have not been in many years, I'm looking for suggestions, on where to stay. Have heard horror stories about Elbow, so it won't be there. We were told off The Reef and Rosedon (sp?).

Does anyone have any comments on the above and or any other suggestions ? I think I would like to be somewhat close to Hamilton. We are looking for a nice place.

Thanks in advance for any help...
